Ten Past Tuesday Post #5

T-Minus 6 days until the official release of Ten Past - EP. GET PSYCHED UP. This album has been a freaking year in the making and FINALLY we can OFFICIALLY release some original material. Lately we’ve been self-producing and it’s been pretty insane, resulting in some crazy tracks (The Opposite of Adults Remix for example) and some shit you guys have never heard before, whether live or recorded. EP hasn’t even been released and we’re already thinking about a full LP :)

Surprise!!!

We are back for another Ten Past Tuesday and today we got something incredible.

To those fans that ACTUALLY decide to come out to shows, remember those two covers we always play that we never recorded? Over the past few months I have been working to set up a full studio set up in my house. The set up was recently finished and we immediately got to work, over the past two days we have been working on those covers for you guys.  For this Ten Past Tuesday The Band Eclypse presents Opposite of Adults Remix. Also, this Wednesday we are playing a concert with our good friends Shinobi Ninja in Brooklyn at a club called Europa, it’s going to be a crazy party and a great time, Shinobi Ninja’s live show is illdiculous to say the least so everyone should try to make it. Ten Past Tuesday Post #2 - Edited to Include Triple J’s Album

First, we would like to give our deepest apologies for not getting this out until late Tuesday Night/Wednesday Morning as it has again been a crazy week. Between almost losing our MC Jeremy Jordan-Jones to the Navy, a funeral, our bassist getting into a boating accident, some crazy music-making with Mr. Jonny Price, and finally finishing and mastering Triple J’s album (coming out in 2 DAYS) we got caught up and ended up writing this a bit late. After many phone calls, pain pills, and mixing sessions we pulled through and let nothing stop us from posting a ridiculous Ten Past Tuesday so be sure to read the whole thing. LESS THAN THREE WEEKS UNTIL LABOR DAY BRINGS US THE TEN PAST EP.

So, July 15th we played our dopest show yet to a sold out audience of over 1,000 at The Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie (huge thanks to the guys over at Killer Cool Entertainment). Oh yea, we were playing with Sam Adams, the iTunes-topping internet phenom who we were beefing with as of 4 months ago. As always, we wanted to give the fans something to watch for Ten Past Tuesday, so we had cameras rolling for our set and for some moments backstage, including officially ending the beef. FREE MP3 OF THE WEEK

Now, it was originally our plan to release our live covers of fan favorites Opposite of Adults and Day N Nite. We made some progress and got a few instruments done - however, in the band’s attempts to save our fellow bandmate from leaving for 6 years and ending up in a submarine somewhere, we got sidetracked. Luckily we have tons of material anyway - this week, you guys get to see the good fortune of having Jonny Price in our studio regularly. He decided to drop a verse on the song and killed it so we are going to release to our fans exclusively as part of Ten Past Tuesday. The track is called “Let It Ride Out”, and was originally going to be on Triple J’s album but due to the more collaborative feeling of the song we stole it for Ten Past Tuesday and are releasing it on the album of our side project “The 16th Seed” (the artist credited with All In). Enjoy. (Oh yeah. You should be faaaaaaded while listening to this song.)
